Liam H. in Mrs. Leidner's class helped me pick up the pencil scraps when they fell all over the floor.
Elle I. in Mrs. McFadden's class invited a friend to play with her.
Mallory J. in Mrs. Leidner's class helped me pick up stuff off the floor. 
Aidan in Mrs. Moore's class gave me a compliment in gym that made my day.
Molly T. in Mrs. Pericles's room helped a friend with morning work.
Matthew K. helped a friend get something at music.
Sean M. in Miss Binette's class had his hands full and a friend held his flute for him.

Alex B. in Mr. Cavanaugh's class helped pick up the trash in the lunchroom.
Ava L. in Mrs. Moore's class is always nice and includes others.
Kiera L. in Mrs. Horton's class went out of her way to be kind to a third grader who wasn't feeling well.
Jack. H in Mrs. Bosh's class swept another student's snack mess using index cards without being asked.
Kiera L. in Mrs. Horton's class showed me how to do a math lesson upon returning from band lessons.
Colin. S in Mrs. Longobardi's class stopped and helped a 3rd grader who dropped a bunch of things in the doorway while other walked by.  
Julia L. in Mrs. Longobardi's class offered to clean another child's desk so she could go to lessons.
Emily C. in Mrs. Horton's class helped a friend with her work when she was out of the room.
Kevin. O in Mrs. Pericles's class helped me with math and sat with me at lunch when I was feeling lonely.
Aidan O'Neil in Mrs. Pericles's class helped a friend by giving him the correct answers in math. 
Jacqui M. in Mrs. Moore's class stood up for me in the lunch room.

Charlie A. in Mrs. Fontes class helped a friend pick up her pencil box.
Ali B. in Mrs. Bosh's class helped a friend with math work that she did not understand.
Stephen M. in Mrs. Moore's class put my book bin away for me. 
Julian V. in Mrs. Leidner's class helped put up a chair for me.
Miles G. in Mrs. Trombert's class found a "free snack"coupon on the hallway floor and brought it to the teacher to find out who it belonged to.
Ian M. helped pick up my papers when someone knocked them on the ground on purpose.  It was very nice.
Ronan M. in Mrs. Klassman's class was extremely helpful in the cafeteria reminding children not to run as they entered the cafeteria from recess.
Nolan R. in Mrs. Klassman's class is so polite when he speaks to an adult. He always addresses adults by their name and has great manners. 
Nick M. in Mrs. Fontes class helped me with my typing because I can't type fast. 
Jack M. in Mrs. Fontes class helped her pick up her pencil box. 
Sarah C. in Mrs. Klassman's class has wonderful manners and shows respect to her teachers and classmates.
Charlotte G. is always polite. She is a wonderful role model.
Lauren K. in Mrs. Leidner's class was very helpful today when another class forgot their baskets at lunch she offered to return them to that classroom and she also returned a lost jacket to the third grade.  Lauren is always happy to help.
Matthew K. in Mrs. Leidner's class brought some more duct tape in for the class when it ran out.

 Grade 3 Students Receive Dog Tags

Grade 3 students had the opportunity to vote on the new dog tag for Norfolk.  This wonderful opportunity makes a great connection to the social studies curriculum that is taught in third grade.  Emma D. receives a dog tag from her dad!

Bucket Fillers of the Month - November!
All of these students got to each lunch with Mrs. Altham-Hickey and Mrs. Whitmore by being nominated for showing RESPECT during the month of November.  As a reward, each student made their own sundae and their parents received a postcard in the mail which recognzied what they were nominated for through a bucket biller slip!  Nice job everyone! 

RESPECT Post Card Winners!
As part of our school wide RESPECT campaign, each student at Freeman-Kennedy School was asked to illustrate a picture for a postcard pertaining to the school code of conduct, "RESPECT."  The purpose of the postcard is to inform parents when their child has been selected to eat lunch with Mrs. Altham-Hickey and Ms. Whitmore.  All the Bucket Fillers of the Week winners' names are placed in a grade level bucket.  Six are chosen from each grade at random for the luncheon.

Nate G. in Mrs. Moore's class won the postcard illustration contest for third grade.  The postcard illustrates a boy asking another boy if he can play soccer.  

                
Molly P. in Mrs. Longobardi's class won the postcard illustration contest for fourth grade.    Molly designed the word RESPECT with all the letters turned into people holding hands.  

Grace C. in Mrs. Tucceri's class won the postcard illustration contest for fifth grade.  Grace designed a postcard  which shows "Treating others as you would like to be treated."

Emily H. in Mr. Brogan's class won the postcard illustration contest for sixth grade. Emily designed a world full of RESPECT with students holding hands around the world.  

Bucket Filler of the Week - December 6th 
Ian O. in Mrs. Leidner's class was really nice when I took my test.  He was the only one that said, "Good" or "Great."

Jason C. in Mrs. Leidner's class let me play with him at recess.
Maddy R. in Miss Binette's class asked to get by on the playground and did not shove.
Jackie D. in Mrs. Klassman's class picked up for me when I went to the nurse.
Andrew S. in Mrs. Leidner's class helped me with my work.
Matt S. in Mr. Cavanaugh's social studies class returned my lost water bottle.
Lisa G. in Mrs. Longobardi's class for her honesty. 
Mrs. Longobardi's fourth grade class for being respectful and helpful to a substitute teacher.
Joel S. in Mrs. Teague's class for letting me borrow his science notes.
Stephen M. in Mrs. Moore's class got my book bin for me when I forgot to get it.
Piper S. in Mrs. Longobardi's class was very patient and understanding in the library dealing with books that were due.

Jillian F. in Mrs, O'Toole's class helped another student in class.
The entire grade 3 class nominated by Mrs. Boyd and Ms. Lassesy for walking back from lunch quietly.
Gabby C. in Mrs. Pericles class invited a friend to play with her during indoor recess.
Lauren B. in Mrs. Moore's class invited a friend to draw with her during indoor recess.
Seth L. in Mrs. Williamson's class held his hand out to help Micah across the ice entering the playground.
Abby C. in Mrs. McNeillie's class offered to help another student with flashcards. 
Sarah G. in Mr. Cavanaugh's class generously shared  some delicious home made snicker doodles. 
Nate G. in Mrs. Moore's class always includes another friend and never lets anyone down.
Faith R. in Mr. Cavanaugh's included another student who had no one to play with at indoor recess.
Thomas S. in Mrs. Longobardi's class tried out for student council and didn't make it however, he was the first in our class to congratulate and applaud for the winner!
Cameron B. in Mrs. Pericles class let me join a game at recess.  He told me how to play and passed to me a lot!

Emily C. and four of her closest friends had the opportunity to make gingerbread houses with the principal and assistant principal.  We had an amazing time with the girls.  Awesome job decorating!!
